ABC Foodi

The brief - Create an iPad App to take advantage of the huge range of recipes from celebrity chefs created for ABC shows and Radio.

Foodi was designed to be the first recipe app of its kind utilising the voice recognition software in the iPad to help users navigate through recipes without having to touch the screen with their fingers. We called this Sticky Fingers mode. Once the user had found a recipe they wanted to cook they could navigate through each step of the recipe method, view images and even see ingredients and measurements just by talking to their ipad and issuing simple commands. Foodi was a major success for the ABC and helped to increase their mobile download traffic.
